Course Description

The 6 Types of Working Genius Leadership Lab helps leaders build stronger, more productive teams by understanding the natural strengths each person brings to work. Using Patrick Lencioni’s Working Genius framework, participants discover how work flows through six stages and how aligning people with their natural talents improves collaboration, engagement, and results. Through a combination of a personalized assessment, team mapping, practical discussions, and action planning, leaders leave with a clear strategy for reducing friction, preventing burnout, improving communication, and creating a high-performing team culture.

Extend the Learning with Optional Follow-Up Phases The Leadership Lab works as a complete one-day experience or as the starting point for continued team development. In optional Phase 2, monthly sessions help participants put Working Genius into practice. Phase 3 provides quarterly check-ins to overcome challenges, maintain momentum and integrate the framework into everyday team operations.

Format and Delivery

This instructor-led workshop is delivered in person or virtually and typically runs as a full-day leadership experience. Participants complete the Working Genius Assessment before the workshop and spend the day applying their results through facilitated discussions, interactive exercises, team mapping, and real workplace scenarios. Leaders leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to improve collaboration, communication, productivity, and team performance.
